This is the end

I'm desperately waiting for nothing. Its a weird kind of wait. Everything is same out there, trees, houses, roads and only change I can see people around me. The place where i stay was more vibrant and noisy in feb 2009.Everything was so exciting everywhere. Tiny room where I used to go to meet my friend down the corridor with my brother and other friends. We used to wait for him to come at night and used to have long chat in car outside his block. well this is the
end of beautiful days.

Wintec days were awesome, heaps of assignment, class presentations and group assignments. Spending nights in hub preparing for exams. Class bunks and doing nothing after that. well this is the end of long ordeal.

Doing closings at work place for almost 8 months.Making fun of each other at work place and enjoying passive smoking in 5 minute breaks before finishing the shift. Well this is the end of those night shifts.

Getting drunk and enjoying late night in clubs. playing cards in room and not caring for neighbours' sleep. Trying hard to save our ass in "asshole" game. well this is the end of day of days.

It hurts to set someone free with whom you were ready to spend rest of life.well this is the end of those long sleepless nights, laughter and soft lies.

Supporting my brother when he needed me most. Supporting me when I needed him most during my hard times.well this is the end of worse financial and hard time.

Its a begining of new day, thats why I'm waiting for nothing, right time will come automatically...

"one night in city"

(Passive Volcano Crator in Auckland)

I get bored so easily with places and surroundings that I need some new excitment everyday. May be my mind has changed or may be I have changed. I was putting up with same old routine for the last couple of weeks and it was killing me. I just wanted to get away and get drunk. so finally I got a chance to celebrate my weekend in Auckland. I been there so many times but this trip was memorable for me. I wanted to taste freedome. A time which is not controlled by any rules. So I got drunk, my friends were drunk and believe me we didn't even know where we were? certainly we were in Auckland. It was awesome night, we were moving from one club to another club. Very next day we went to Mount Eden to see passive volcano crater. It is situated right in the middle of Auckland city and from top of it one can see big crator and Manakau's city center ,airport and long line of sea.
Next I wanna go to "Napier'. I'm just waiting for the right time to come. Napier is known for beautiful drive and ArtDeco style buildings. In 1931, whole city was levelled by massive earthquake and it was re -built. We are planning to hire minibus and we gonna drive that bus all the way to Napier. I just can't wait anymore.

"never ending love of mother"

Mother is just a simple word but she is a perfect example of devotion, never ending love, patience, house maker, kind hearted. She is a light in dark, releief at the time of depression and hard days. She is a cook, nurse & teacher. Unconditional love only found in her. She is always ready to give and doesn't expect anything back. She is the symbol of sacrifice. she always catch your pain no matter how hard you try to hide yourself, even you are sitting thousand miles away from your home. She always pray for us even if we hardly remember her. Only person who wait for us when we go home. She always stand by us even if we do wrong to our life. She is always around us all the time in the form of God.She understands so much of everything and still we don't understand when she is in pain.

It reminds me of one very good song sung by Satinder Sartaj "Ammie". I'm uploading here. He sang this song in Auckland in "live in concert". He sang this song at the time of winding up the show. I was not there but one of my friend was telling me, there was pindropped silence in the hall and every face was about to cry...

must listen song :-

Here is the link ,couldn't upload video due to server problem in hostel.

funny humans

Do you ever get the feeling that no matter how hard you try at something, you can't be good enough. No matter how hard you try to tell something to someone, they will not believe you. You try, try hard, you really really do but everything starts moving away from you. No matter how hard you try to call your friends , you send messages, leave messages, wait for their messages all night long and you don't get any reply. No matter how hard you show your affection, love and care, they don't even bother to look back and take you seriously.

How many time you wake up late and still stick to your bed hoping something will happen soon? How many time you are in good mood and suddenly your mood changes? how many time you wanna go out and can't find the place to visit? How many time you just don't feel like talking to anyone? How many time you wanna do things differently and don't know how to start? How many time you just become careless, indifferent to other's feeling? You are with friends and look lost all the time.

Damn it! How much a person can take ? Its just not fair.

When a person leaves you, it becomes hard to lead life. Stuggle starts again to overcome even small problems. Everything seems big enough to handle. You get scared from everyone. Then time shows its vibrant colours. some takes time and some don't. You deceive one person and pretend loyalty to others. If person is not loyal to one person he/she can't be loyal to anyone else.

so cheers you have been loyal, even though your loyalty has given you nothing but soon you will be paid. Thats how things work.

" I run while talking to God"

  • He is the man who has replaced gretest & most respectable figure in football game "David Beckam" as a Adidas's new poster guy and he became brand ambassodor for Adidas's new shoe "supernova cushion"
  • A child who grew up in punjab as a farmer and was barely walk when he was 5 years old.
  • A guy who has given inspiration to millions of people living in London, USA & Canada.
  • He is the oldest man to run a marathon and still determined to break his own record 5.40 hours in his age bracket.
  • He raised thousand of pounds for various charities promoting sikh culture around the world and raised money for B.L.I.S.S, a charity dedicated to the care of premature babies in London.
  • Adidas signed him up for its "Nothing is impossible" campaign, thats why Adidas billboard warns the marathon runners from kenya:" The kenyans had better watch out for him when he hits 100."
well his name is "Sardar Fauja Singh" born in 1911. He is 93 years old. He is the man who inspires me most. My cousin who is professional artist met him in Toronto when he was there for marathon. He presented Fauja Singh a beautiful painting of "Harminder Sahib".

Well I beleive every strong man must have seen some dark days of his life. His beloved wife passed away when he was in Punjab and that loss left Fauja Singh hopeless. He came to London in 1992 to live with his son. He started running because it gave happiness and focused mind.
He is very much religious person and he always say"he feels strong and his life’s motto is very much focused on Waheguru, and the concepts of Sewa (selfless service)".

He is certainly an inspiration for young children all over the world for his sheer determination, dedication and humble nature.

The mind of the Artist

Art is a language, and that the thing to be said is of more importance than the manner of saying it. This desire for expression is the driving-force of the artist; it informs, controls, and animates his method of working; it governs the hand and eye. That figures should give the impression of life and spontaneity, that the sun should shine, trees move in the wind, and nature be felt and represented as a living thing--this is the firm ground in art and in those who have this feeling every effort will, consciously or unconsciously, lead towards its realisation.

Some says, artist, traveller & singers are psycho but I say they simply enjoy their freedome that common person only think of in dreams.

Anyway enjoy my new sketch of my friend Ranjit and some old oil paintings gifted to me by my friend. His father painted Gurus in beautiful style.

Baba Farid (1173 to 1265)

It was nice crisp afternoon, We were sitting in balcony figuring out what to do. I had to stay in hostel on weekends as It was 7 hour drive from malout (Muktsar) to Chandigarh. So I used to visit chanidgarh every fortnight. rest of my classmates were from near city so they usually went home on every weekends. But I remember that day when one of my friend gave me invitation to visit Faridkot. It was not an ordinary invitaion, He insisted me to attend "Baba Farid" funtion heldd every year at his shrine. Well I couldn't refuse his offer as I never visited Faridkot and wanted to see that city too.n it was good excuse.

Faridkot is named after "Baba farid" and he is recognised as one of the favourite saint in gurbani. I Saw this painting in his shrine and today i got a chance to draw him.
so here is another sketch of "Baba Farid"

His Hymn:-
"kaga sab tan khaiyo mera chun chun khayiyo mass do naina mat khayiyo mohe piya milan ki aas"
O Raven, you have searched my skeleton, and eaten all my flesh. But please do not touch these eyes as I hope to behold my Beloved. (91) (sggs 1382)

Another famous salook of Baba Farid is :-
Do not utter even a single harsh word; your True Lord and Master abides in all. Do not break anyone`s heart; these are all priceless jewels. (129)
The minds of all are like precious jewels; to harm them is not good at all.
If you desire your Beloved, then do not break anyone`s heart. (130)
